Michael Caligiuri has served on the Supervisory Board since 2013.
Dr. Caligiuri is the CEO of The James Cancer Hospital and Director of the Comprehensive Cancer Center at The Ohio State University. Dr. Caligiuri is a leukemia physician and a laboratory scientist focused on innate immunity, or natural killer cell biology, and genesis and treatment of leukemia. His laboratory is comprised of 30 people and receives funding from the United States National Cancer Institute. Over 1,500 patients have been accrued to clinical trials designed or co-designed by Dr. Caligiuri.
He attended Stanford University Medical School and trained in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplantation, and Immunology at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and The Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
He also serves as a member of the Board of directors of the American Association of Cancer Research.
